A simple walk to get irradiated water from the river could lead to some sort of horrific death via radiation poisoning, alien abductions, being eaten by any number of mutated monstrosities, enslavement, or even simple execution by a vicious raider gang of fellow humans.įortunately, the player characters in the Fallout series are not like any ordinary post-apocalyptic survivor.
